My Train app for iPhone and iPad

Really great and fun idea, I only wish there were more trains to play with

this is cool and fun, and a really easy way to play with trains. most kids nowadays never get to see them. this was a really great concept!

My eight year old is a complete train nut and insisted we get this. I figured for 99 cents, why not? Basically all this is, is a set of train images with accompanying sound effects. The problem is that, as my son put it, "All the sounds are wrong!" In fairness, not all of them, but several are glaringly inappropriate for the trains depicted: diesel locomotives with steam whistles, etc. Also, most of the images are sized incorrectly for the iPhone and are thus distorted on the screen (badly in a couple of cases). All in all, a pretty sloppy effort. Fix these issues and its worth 99 cents; as is, no. Update: All issues are fixed. My son says, "The sounds are all right now!"

And I quote my 3 year old, "If they would put the green train on there, it would make me really happy." We love this app and have had it for quite a while now. My son loves it but wishes that the green train from the menu was in there. Please, please, please??

I was happy to see this app because I and my kids (3 & 4) are all railfans. However, the app needs better sounds for most of the trains. Even my kids said "Dad, thats not what that trian sounds like!" when I played the American deisels.

This is ok but very simple--wish there was a function where achild could make a selected train run on tracks. Something more interactive wouldbe an improvement.

This app needs to be more interactive where you can tapp a train and move it along the tracks... Seems like very little effort was put into this.

Missing a train from the menu. Limited number and function. Could you add the green train in? My 2 year old is frustrated he cant find it. :( Also a game function of moving on tracks would be awesome. Thanks

Terrible app. Needs much more to be worthwhile. Maybe some actual videos rather than still picks and perhaps a game where a train can be moved along the tracks. Lets say what it really is which is a few pictures with some sound. Boring!!!!

Boring... Very short clips with a still picture. Videos and longer sound clips would make it better. Nephew Bored with it after a few times....
